About a month ago I walked into wegsmans in Downingtown, pa 19335 and was very surprised to see a Brand new, HUGE section of beer. And not just budlight, but good, local beer. It was clear someone gave the selection some serious thought.
I was curious how this was legal because in pa grocery stores are not allowed to sell beer. Luckily one of my past clients is a manager there and she told me that since they technically have a resaurant there that they are allowed to sell beer. What a fantastic marketig move!
I was there the other morning meeting a friend for breakfast and I saw that they will be having a “Beer & Food pairing event” on June 13th and a few of the breweries the sell their product there at wegmans. It sounds like a really fun event, especially if you like good beer.
