Community Clothing sales/Drives and Garage Sales in the Downingtown area
As parents of young children (Boys) that just destroy clothes, my wife and I are always on the look at out clothing sales and drives. Here are a couple that are coming up in the near future:
Saturday October 3rd, Friendship Elementary School, clothing & and used book drive. Get Directions, Also St. Matthews Church in Chester Springs is having a clothing sale. More info
Saturday, October 10th, Calvary Fellowship Church – Clothes-to-go clothing drive. All ages, men, women, children, all free. More info
Nutritional needs of Children interactive learning Session – October 20th, the East Brandywine/Downingtown Mom’s club will be having an interactive learning session on the nutritional needs of children and health benefits. The session will be facilitated by one of their members , Loretta Parks, who has conducted research in the field as part of her MPH program. The MOMS Club of East Brandywine/Downingtown will meet on Tuesday October 20th at 9:30 am at the Wallace Township Building, 1250 Creek Rd (route 282) in Glenmoore.
